Passing away in 1946, Walter Johnson signatures are rare in any format, especially full length images with the hurler in his Senators uniform. This fantastic 3.5" x 4.75 type 1 sepia toned photograph taken & signed in 1924 - the year of his World Series championship - has been boldly signed by Walter Johnson in black ink, largely and boldly across the photo, "Yours Sincerely, Walter Johnson, 1924". The photo has been matted to an overall size of 5" x 7". Overall in fine condition. Easily one of the largest & boldest signatures we have ever handled from Johnson!
