The Graduate was released in 1967 to outstanding reviews, with a critically acclaimed soundtrack featuring the music of Simon & Garfunkel released in conjunction. The film boosted the profile of folk-rock duo. Originally, director Mike Nichols used their existing songs like "The Sound of Silence" merely as a pacing device for the editing until Nichols decided that substituting other original music would not be effective and decided to include them on the soundtrack, an unusual move at that time. Ultimately, the soundtrack featured six songs from the pair. Offered here is a pressing of The Graduate soundtrack, signed by both Paul Simon & Art Garfunkel, as well as the three main actors of the cast - Dustin Hoffmann, Katharine Ross & Anne Bancroft. All have signed in near-mint felt tip markers. The album stands in overall fine condition with minor handling wear. A rare grouping of autographs! Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA.
