On April 13, 2016, Kobe Bryant orchestrated the perfect farewell in his final career game, scoring sixty points and a victory against the Utah Jazz. In his 20 years with the Lakers, Bryant delivered five NBA championships, with his power on the court shining through all the way to the final buzzer in his final game. After that game, Kobe adorned this 24" x 41" Body Armor towel, greeting past and present teammates and fans, and delivering an unforgettable farewell speech, ending with the now famous phrase, "Mamba Out". As Bryant went to exit the court, a fan grabbed the towel, which has since made it into our hands as this excellent auction offering. The towel stands in fine condition, exhibiting light staining which matches footage of the day. Two game tickets from the fan who obtained the towel accompany the towel. The speech from the game showing Kobe wearing the towel is featured in the embedded video in this listing, along with the video showing the fan grabbing the towel off of his back as he exited the court. A direct memento from one of the most exciting games in Lakers history - and the final piece of Kobe Bryant's history with the team - this towel has truly had a brush with greatness. Accompanied by a Letter of Authenticity from Iconic Auctions.
