On November 13, 2000, the 30th anniversary of The Beatles' breakup, Apple Records released "The Beatles 1" - a compilation of virtually every number one hit the band had achieved in the United Kingdom and United States between 1962 and 1970. The release was met with outstanding success, topping charts worldwide - and proving that The Beatles are still respected as one of the greatest bands of all time. Offered here is the CD for this release, signed on the booklet by Paul McCartney with a "Cheers!" inscription. The signature was obtained in 2010 when Sir Paul was performing at Wachovia Center in Philadelphia. In fine condition with light handling wear, the case shows some scuffing and rubbing. Please note that this item has been presented to Beckett Authentication and was unable to be authenticated by them. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from noted Beatles expert Frank Caiazzo.
