Some of the Gods of baseball can be had with this incredibly scarce next offering, featuring an narrow timeframe for the collection of elites to pen this implausible ONL sphere. Headlined by possibly the best pitcher & position players to ever play the game in Christy Mathewson & Babe Ruth, which helps with the timeframe of such a fine offering. With Ruth not coming into his "own" until the start of the 1919 season and Mathewson being struck by tuberculosis prior to the end of the 1925 season, one would believe it dates from c. 1919-1925. Presumably game used, other Cooperstown members have signed in black ink including McGraw, Foxx, Simmons, Grove, Speaker, Bender among 8 others. Overall in fine condition showing game use throughout, moderate toning & scuffing along with fading to some signatures. It's worth noting, we were not able to locate another ball featuring Ruth/Mathewson in our records! Authenticated by James Spence Authentication with a full letter of authenticity.
